You came from as far away as Corpus Christi, Laredo, Houston, and Ft. Worth. You came for the MMA Stars like Amir Sadollah, Melvin Guillard, and Ricco Rodriguez, for the competitions like the Spartan Challenge and Texas Fit Model Search, and for the girls, girls, girls.
Now that the coma has past and the wife avoided the hourly temptation to pull the plug on our bed-ridden body, or snuff us out with a pillow, or leave us for the pool-boy (funny, we don’t have a pool…) we have mustered up the energy to thank you for coming.
We also want to thank our sponsors, who were wise and prescient to believe in the first Texas Testosterone Festival. Please support the companies who supported us by visiting their websites and purchasing their products and services. The links are on the right side of the page. Thank you Sugarbaby Swimwear! Thank you AT&T, Bikinis Bar and Grill, Buffalo Billiards, Cindie’s Lingerie and Gifts, DWIDude.com, Escobedo Skin Center, Floyd’s 99 Barbershops, King of Kombat, Picture Perfect Studio, Sames Red Barn Motors, and Zhen Mei Natural Supplements.

Thank you to the great team of people who worked with us to manage the Festival and its Featured Events, especially the volunteers. Thank you to those who participated in our Competitions. And Thank you to all the Special Guests who came to the Festival - too many to mention.
Thank you to the greatest design firm on planet earth, Atlantis 57 Studios, for working with us during a personally trying year. Thank you to the greatest PR agency on planet earth, Cile Montgomery and Jordan Jeffus of Giant Media, for working with us under ever-changing conditions and then delivering a small mountain of media coverage of this year’s Festival.
Thank you to businesses such as Aussie’s Volleybar and Kegerator.com for working with us in creative capacities for the benefit of our attendees.
And superstar thanks to the wife, to Amy Pitre of Sugarbaby Swimwear, Devon Hornby of Vital Male, Phil Cardella, and David Lee Nall, without whom the Festival would not have been all it came to be.

The Dallas Desire Are Coming To The Festival
August 10, 2009 by Garp

The Dallas Desire of the Lingerie Football League are coming to Austin this weekend and they wanna know where all the men are at. We were happy to inform them that every red-blooded male in the State of Texas was coming to The Texas Testosterone Festival - so they should too. And they will.
Tight End, Wide Receiver, Offensive line, and a whole bunch of other positions will be at the SugarBaby Swimwear exhibit space to meet with fans, take pictures, and perhaps give you some tips on full-contact tackling.
They do put the ‘Fantasy’ into ‘Fantasy Football’, no?
Mighty Morphin Power Ranger Jason David Frank To Appear
August 10, 2009 by Garp

Mixed Martial Arts fans might be surprised to learn the founder of the “Jesus Didn’t Tap” clothing line is “Tommy” from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. General Martial Arts fans might be surpised to learn “Tommy” is Jason David Frank, founder of Toso Kune Do Karate, member of the World Karate Union Hall of Fame, and owner of the Rising Sun Karate Academies.
Fact is, this guy has accomplished more than everyone who lives on your block combined and will kick your ass while he does it again. Thankfully for us, he’ll graciously smile, sign his autograph, take a picture with you, and probably choose to not kick your ass when you come to The Texas Testosterone Festival to meet him.
Jason David Frank will be at the exhibit space for The Houston Sports Gallery, along with the UFC’s Melvin Guillard, at times TBA on Saturday August 15. On Sunday August 16 both Jason and Melvin will spend their time checking out The Relson Gracie Texas Jiu Jitsu Tournament at The Texas Testosterone Festival.
Advance tickets are STILL only $6 and available for purchase online, click here. Man, if The Texas Testosterone Festival gets any cooler we may just have to raise our prices. Buy your ticket now before we convince ourselves to bump it up to the $9 day-of price.
WWE’s Brooke Adams, Miss Hawaiian Tropic Texas 2009 Coming Too
August 10, 2009 by Garp

Funny story, we’ve been wanting some professional wrestling represented at The Texas Testosterone Festival. But when we pictured it in our minds… well, it was muscle-bound, 200+ pounds, and generally not the kind of guy we’d want assigned the task of kicking our ass.
Instead, we have Brooke Adams - WWE Diva, Miss Hawaiian Tropic Texas 2009, model, and frankly so super-hot we would invite the opportunity to get our ass kicked by her just to say we got close to her. And she probably could kick our ass as well as that 200 pound ugly guy we originally envisioned, just smell better doing it.
Brooke Adams comes to The Texas Testosterone Festival courtesy of SugarBaby Swimwear (who is also owned by super-hot chick Amy Pitre). Brooke will be signing autographs and taking pictures in the SugarBaby Swimwear exhibit space at times TBA. Brooke’s appearance officially makes The Texas Testosterone Festival the center of the hot chick universe August 15 and 16, and the SugarBaby Swimwear exhibit space will be the super hot chick epicenter of the hot chick universe, with so much hotness it will threaten the earth’s equilibrium.
Towels will be made available to clean up your drool. Advance tickets are STILL only $6 and available for purchase online, click here. $6 to be at the center of the hot chick universe? Really? We’re officially crazy to keep the price this low. We’re going to go make a list of the hot chicks to be at The Texas Testosterone Festival and when we’re done you had better have bought your advance ticket for $6 already. We’ll be done making the list Friday August 14 if we work at it day-and-night between now and then.

8 Year Old Girl Takes On Competitive Eating Event

Chris Cubas - Raw Onion Eating Champion
When we titled the eating competition “Come See Grown Men Cry” we never imagined the feat of consuming the most raw onion possible would attract as a competitor an 8 year old girl. But it did.
Turns out she wasn’t man enough for Onion Eating Champion Chris Cubas, who consumed one entire pound of raw onion in 5 minutes to win $200 from Bikinis Bar and Grill, a gift package from Nos Energy Drink, a t-shirt from SugarBaby Swimwear, and 10-15 feet from friends, family, and acquaintances for the next day or two.
Finishing second place was Whitney, whom you may recognize as Miss January in Bikinis’ 2009 Calendar. Whitney consumed nearly 3/4 of a pound of raw onion and, despite the effort, will be unable to keep guys 10 feet from her no matter what she does.

Ruby Collins, Levi Oliver, and Whitney of Bikinis
8 year old Madison consumed 1/8 a pound of raw onion in a monumental effort sure to inspire the imaginations of other wee eaters worldwide. The red face and tears of a little girl made sure there also wasn’t a dry eye in the house. But the smile on Madison’s face to an adoring audience after the competition was reassuring. Although the scars may be real and impossible to erase, a lifetime of competitive eating achievements await anyway.
Comedian Ruby Collins hosted “Come See Grown Men Cry” and the contest was refereed by Former Tamale Eating World Record Holder Levi Oliver.

“Come See Grown Men Cry” was a pre-Festival event held with the support of SugarBaby Swimwear and Bikinis Bar and Grill. The Texas Testosterone Festival will begin in earnest Saturday August 15 at 10:00 AM. Things will kick-off with the singing of the National Anthem by a lovely young woman in a SugarBaby Swimwear bikini. But it will be red, white, and blue, to keep it tasteful, of course.
Advance tickets are only $6 and available for purchase online by clicking here. Tickets at the door are $9, $10 if we run out of dollar bills.

We love all three of them but the first two have been retired in favor of the third. Stay tuned to AM 1300 The Zone to hear our ad!

(This is Brooke Adams, former WWE / ECW star and Miss Hawaiian Tropic Texas 2009. She is a sexy lady. She will be at The Texas Testosterone Festival.)
And we should mention, while you’re staring at Brooke’s picture, Cedric Golden and AJ Hoffman of AM 1300 The Zone will be on the Expert Fantasy Football Panel at The Texas Testosterone Festival on Saturday August 15.
