King of Kombat Weigh-In Results and Pictures

We’re here at Dave & Busters in North Austin (183 and 360) for the weigh-ins for tomorrow night’s King of Kombat “Judgement Day” card. We’ll update with news as things happen.

3:40 All Fighters have arrived. Cool announcements: Paul Buentello is conducting exit interviews with the fighters. $5000 bonus being offered to one fighter for the “Finish of the Night” by Fleshlight (we believe that is the sponsor). Oohs and aahs from the fighters over this announcement.

4:00 Weigh-ins complete. Pictures forthcoming. Nick Gonzales missed weight - weighed in at 147.75 for a 145 pound weight. Gonzales didn’t seem too surprised, but disappointed. Immediately, Gonzales said “I’m not gonna cut anymore” and an ameniable Neace agreed to accept $200 from Gonzales’s purse. Unfortunately, the fight against Dustin Neace is now a non-title fight. Gonzales seemed stoic and is very anxious for the fight regardless.

Ryan Benoit 135.5 vs. Davis Sylvester 136 lbs. (this weigh-in was delayed while Sylvester was jogging outside the venue)

Eric Davila 186.75 vs. Cedric Marks 176.5 lbs. (huge weight disparity but they appear to be similar sizes, albeit different body types. interesting to see if the weight makes a difference in the fight.)
